eJure is a platform for interactive policymaking as well as a place where interested people - not only legal experts - can share their knowledge and experiences with regards to the Information Society. Registered users have full access to this site. Open discussion on the Information Society helps further increase the quality of the platform’s legal framework, while knowledge fragmentation is reduced (l'union fait la force). eJure supports multi-lingual interaction, although this site is limited to Dutch and English only for practical reasons. Additionally, eJure facilitates consultation and cooperation within task groups for (semi) governmental institutions, organisations in the private sector or research institutes. Please contact us for more information.
eJure was established in the Netherlands as an independent foundation by the national Ministry of Justice following parliamentary discussions parliament on policy-making and legislation in the information age. One of the main outcomes was the recognition that much public/private partnership and international cooperation was needed. The concept of eJure is a suitable means to achieve this.
